Getting on the road to recovery is tough. For most young adults who are turning to the sober life often find it the most difficult. Keeping both the mind and body strong is very important while attending a drug rehab and addiction treatment program. The addiction recovery process for addicts is all about retraining the mind and body to function without drugs and alcohol; therefore, by engaging in fun activities and exercise, your body will have an easier time adjusting, and your mind will be kept occupied as well to help you achieve a sober lifestyle.
The area around Above It All Treatment’s inpatient addiction treatment center is lush and untouched. Our guests have ample space to explore the grounds and surroundings. We also host group hikes for people to local trails and to Heaps Peak Arboretum.
Swimming and Boating:
With our treatment facility only steps away from Lake Arrowhead, you can expect many chances to take a swim, go fishing, or get out on the lake for a little while.
While nearly all of our activities take place in a group setting, we also offer other activities that are designed to bring all of our guests and staff together as a group and form bonds. Whether that be through crafts, group conversation, or even playing some music together, these activities are fun and teach good lessons for continued success in sobriety.
